The ACTUAL "feeling" lyrics & YPT results...

feeling

Lyrics by Jung Yong Hwa
Music by Jung Yong Hwa, Ryo

A flower in the spring fallen leave in the fall
That is the paradise
A teardrop in my face, beads of sweat in my face.
That is the paradise

I am confused, I'm at a nonplus
I am in tears, And tear me down.
I am confused, That continues. But I will enjoy those everyday.

It's just a feeling It's just a feeling
That is just a faint feeling
It's just a feeling, It's just a feeling.
Just the feeling changes of mind.

I miss every every everything
and anything anything beside my mind
The sun I see only sits in dark space lighting up my world.

You miss every every everything
and anything anything beside your mind
The sun you see only sits in dark space lighting up your world.

I miss everything, anything beside my mind
A shooting star will light our worlds apart again,
Certainly.

You miss every every everything
and anything anything beside your mind.

The sun you see only sits in dark space lighting up your world.

Waiting for a feeling to come. and close your eyes.
That will shine your mind.

----------------------------------

anyways,
YPT=FAIL...

-nonplus!
(so "I don't know plus" that I heard the first time was the closest?;;;)

-beside!

-And tear me down

-"That" is the paradise

-The sun "I see only sits in dark space lighting up my world
(glad it's not "on my world". also thought I kept hearing an s after "thing", that's why...)

-Just the feeling changes of mind
(???)

-That will shine your mind.

Congrats to all those who scored better than me!! (beads of tears from my eyes)

Anne!! "beads of sweat" is the best Yonglish deciphered ever.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to EVERYONE who shared this fun experience with me!!
(see you in 3-4 months when the new J single comes out??^-^)

  1. the lyrics is very deep. with soft-opening-melody,slowly turns into harder melody. the melody and rhythm blended well with the lyrics. I think this song is the counterbalance of the album.

Once more, Yonghwa's voice is a little bit more husky. ^__^

btw, thanks for posting the lyrics :))

  2. The lyrics totally a poem on paper!
Am actually glad that I failed in the YPT. Beautiful words. (Still he needs pronunciation lessons;;;;)

I really want to know if his Korean lyrics are as poetic too. You know there are Korean versions of many of the Japanese released songs. I remember reading the Chinese translation of "Try Again, Smile Again" Korean lyrics. Deeper and more poetic compared to the English version.

  3. *hangs head in shame for totally underestimating our boy*

Wows, am happy that we failed our YPT. nonplus! That word did cross my mind for all of 0.02 seconds before I (arrogantly) dismissed it. I am now humbled....

I am amazed by how much his English has improved in these few years. I wonder how he's managed that in the midst of his crazy schedule! Doubly humbled...

  4. i guess one does not call him emotional for nothing ~ lyric, melody and the execution of the song is full of poetic 'feeling'
    thank you for the transcription.

  5. Then I checked and found HSH is the lyrics co-writer for Kor version of "Try Again, Smile Again"... but YH's the sole lyric writer for Kor ver of "Love Revolution", "Y, why", "Just Please", "One Time".

  6. Swittrain/I also like how it's a totally different song from the other two. It shows CNBLUE's diverse style so artfully. I like how "feeling"'s lyrics depart from his previous positive/hopeful ones and dig deeper into his darker interior, too.

klaritia/ I like his Korean lyrics too (except for the ones that I can sense HSH's deep involvement, which are full of cliche phrases;;..why did he have to touch DSGB??). My favorite ones are Y,why, Just Please, One Time, and Tattoo. They're somewhat unconventional and unique, and really true to his heart--very like his English lyrics. Since this has become something of a translation blog, I might translate his Korean lyrics someday. TASA's one of the better HSH-involved ones tho. I like how it's less direct than the Eng ver.

    checkinout/I'm happy too. Our YH's no longer in his own world of Yonglish!...(well, much less so this time :) ) Props to u for knowing that word!!! I have a "feeling" that he listens to a lot of Eng songs and picks up phrases here and there. Still, such a hardworking guy...I always feel like I'm not trying hard enough in life;;

brightbb/ Though my fingers cringe when I'm reminded of their band name/initials (makes it so blunt that they're "produced idols";;), I think HSH managed to pick an aptly appropriate word for YH.
